Beth Baker, M.S., CCC-SLP

Director of Play Pals

Beth Baker, M.S., CCC-SLP, serves as the Director of Play Pals, where she combines her extensive background in education, speech-language pathology, and early childhood development to create meaningful learning experiences for young children. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University.

Before becoming a speech-language pathologist, Beth spent 10 years as both a Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) and Kindergarten teacher. During this time, she developed a deep understanding of child development and witnessed firsthand the powerful impact that early intervention can have on a child's growth and success.

Beth later worked for years as a speech-language pathologist serving adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), further strengthening her expertise in communication development, social skills, and individualized support strategies. Throughout her career, she has specialized in working with children with ASD and those with complex speech, language, and communication needs.

As Director of Play Pals, Beth is passionate about creating an inclusive, play-based environment where children can build confidence, develop meaningful skills, and reach their fullest potential. As the mother of two energetic young boys, she brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to supporting children and guiding families through every stage of development.
